Antonio Brown and Ben Roethlisberger call each other 'Ronald' and 'Billy' after
TD
Showtime's "Inside the NFL" mic'd up Antonio Brown andBen Roethlisberger for the
Pittsburgh Steelers' 24-14 win over the New York Giants, and weirdness ensued.
After Roethlisberger's touchdown pass to Ladarius Green in the third quarter,
Brown greeted and commend Big Ben with nickname Billy, and Roethlisberger
replied good job with Brown’s nickname Ronald.
Roethlisberger said he has no idea why they call each other with the nicknames.
But they seem to be rolling with it. He replied and reacted to the media
interviews last week by requesting he be addressed as "Ronald," with the reason
being "top secret."
The two can use whichever nicknames they want after connecting on 11 touchdowns
through 12 games.
Brown was animated on the mic Sunday, asking Odell Beckham Jr. before the game
to "pray it up" with him and saying before his 20-yard touchdown catch that "I
can shake 'em in the red zone. We're about to cash in."
Brown went high on Janoris Jenkins in tight coverage for a touchdown off a
scramble play, after which Brown said repeatedly, "Let's Go." He finished the
game with six catches for 54 yards.
